休眠卵論文

２回のメジャーリバイスの後から約２ヶ月。エディターより連絡。こういうのはいつもドキドキしますね。
「レフリー２の評価が良くないので、このままだとリジェクトになるが、別のレフリーを追加した。だからもう少し待って欲しい」

微妙な心境だ。とりあえず、エディターにはまだ気に入られているっぽい。それに、レフリー１からも最初のレビューで評価を得ている。前向きに考えたい。
"This is an interesting, well-written and straightforward manuscript. I like it and have only a few minor comments."

でも納得できないのがレフリー２だ。最初のコメントでは、
"I believe the current work is worthwhile being published and offers interesting results. Nevertheless I think that the current manuscript needs some major reworking before being acceptable for publication."
と言われたが、一つのメジャーコメントには納得できなかったので、反論して放置したら、２回目のコメントで
"Mind that I really am interested in seeing the results published. I cannot allow the manuscript, however, to be published in its current form without considering the given comments more carefully."
と言われたので、しようがなく直したら、次はリジェクトってどういうことなのだろう？
